Beyin Göçü ve Gençlik

Özet
Bu araştırma, günümüzün küresel ölçekte önemli sorunlarından biri olan beyin göçünü gençlik ekseninde ele almaktadır. OECD ve IOM gibi uluslararası kuruluşların verilerine göre, son yirmi yılda uluslararası öğrenci sayısı ve yükseköğretim mezunu göçmen oranı ciddi artış göstermiştir. Bu artış, gençliğin beyin göçünün ana taşıyıcısı haline geldiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırma, beyin göçünü tetikleyen “çekici” ve “itici” faktörleri ekonomik, sosyal, siyasal ve eğitimsel bağlamda analiz etmektedir. Gelişmiş ülkelerdeki yüksek gelir, özgürlük ortamı, güçlü akademik altyapılar gibi çekici unsurlar; gelişmekte olan ülkelerdeki işsizlik, düşük ücretler, siyasi baskılar ve eğitim olanaklarının yetersizliği gibi itici faktörlerle birleşerek genç bireylerin göç kararlarını belirlemektedir.
