Özet

Bu çalışma, insan hakları ve kalkınma arasındaki kuramsal ilişkiyi inceler. İnsan hakları ve kalkınma hem teoride hem de son yıllarda BM organları ve kalkınma STK'larının uygulamalarında adeta özdeşleşmiştir. Bütün boyutlarıyla yani sivil, siyasal, ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel yönleriyle kalkınma sağlanmadıkça insan hakları ve uluslararası enstrümanlarda ifade edilen tüm insan hakları da sağlanmadıkça gerçek anlamda bir kalkınma mümkün değildir. Bu ilişki 1986 tarihli BM Kalkınma Hakkı Deklarasyonu'nda da ifadesini bulmuştur.
